Mountain Bike Action: Ransom preview
MBA granted the New 2006 SCOTT Ransom the "We'll Pay Award"at Interbike. Touting its carbon fiber frame constructed with the CR1 Carbon Welding Process, its Interchangeable Dropout System (IDS), and its on-the-fly travel control options.
They mention: "The heart of the Ransom is the Equalizer TC shock. This large volume shock bathes its seals and bushings in an oil bath that Scott feels makes it easier to tune and more reliable. The Intelligent Rebound Valve (IRV) is a speed-sensitive rebound adjustment, and a Power Stabilizer knob allows dialing in the shock's pedaling platform".
