Frame Features
Lightweight
At 17.9kg for the SL model, the Voltage responds to your every input just like a regular trail bike; maneuvering and braking as you’re used to – but with some added oomph to keep you out there for longer.
Shock accessibility and user-friendliness was paramount when designing the Voltage. The downtube door that is featured on all Voltage models is super simple to remove, taking just a quarter turn of the dial to remove the cover. The large opening makes things like shock adjustments and cable routing much easier. Additionally, removing the shock is a piece of cake. A window on the drive-side of the seat tube gives direct access to the shock bolt.
The downtube features a large, removable cover with a rubber coating to protect the underside from debris strikes, as well as dampen noises from any hits taken. This cover may be entirely removed if needed to access components within the frame otherwise too difficult to reach through the smaller door.
The design of this frame has also allowed us to maximize dropper post insertion, allowing room for 140mm posts on size small, 180mm on size medium and large, and 210mm on size extra-large.
The Voltage features a 55mm chainline, which allows us to optimize tire clearance while not sacrificing rear end stiffness. All bikes in the range benefit from the same levels of integration, trail-crushing geometry, and incredible suspension performance.

Cable Management
It’s no secret that there is a lot going on inside the modern eMTB, with dropper cable, drive unit and battery cables, and a rear shock discreetly tucked away inside the frame. We have developed a dropper cable channeling device and a shock sleeve that ensure these components are well placed, easy to manage and kept safely away from any moving parts. These neat solutions also result in clean and unobstructed access to the rear shock settings when working on the bike.
Syncros finishing kit
The Voltage features a Hixon Cockpit from Syncros in either one-piece carbon integrated cockpit, or a more traditional two-piece bar and stem. Both of these have two options for rise depending on frame size (15mm and 25mm) and two stem lengths. Multiple options exist for computer mounts, lights, etc.
Head Angle
Swapping head angle is easy. Just take off your cockpit, remove headset cups, rotate them each 180 degrees, and reassemble. No need to cut any cables or bleed any brakes. Cable integration is not exclusive to the one-piece cockpits though, with the possibility to mount on the stem cap but also out the front of the bar using two threaded inserts. All cables flow neatly under the bar and into the headset leading to a clean, clutter free cockpit.
LIGHTWEIGHT
SCOTT MTB’s have always focused on stiffness to weight ratios – we want bikes that are strong but that won’t weigh you down when you’re out in the mountains. For the new Voltage eRIDE, this would be no different. We’ve applied our stiffness and lightweight zone principle to the HMF carbon construction of the Voltage. Through strategic reinforcement of certain areas in the stiffness zone, we can really maximize weight savings elsewhere.
TQ HPR50
The TQ HPR50 delivers an unprecedented power/weight ratio of 1.8 kg for 50Nm. TQ has innovated by using a harmonic gear system, which allows for a minimal size, while also increasing the accuracy of the system. This results in a lighter bike, better integration, while reducing backlash for a more natural pedaling sensation. This technology also allows for the reduction in system noise, further adding to this natural experience.
The small size of HPR50 allows for a spindle length of 135mm, resulting in a minimal Q-factor (the distance between the outside of one crank and the outside of the opposite crank) and providing a riding position akin to a non-electric bike.
Supplemental Range
Easily fixed to the seat tube water bottle mount with our unique SCOTT designed quick release mount, the range extender features a slim design and low weight, meaning minimal impact on the bike’s handling.
An optional sliding mount system makes for an easy switch between the rear water bottle and the range extender, allowing either to easily be transported when out on longer rides.
The system can be charged with the range extender in place, prioritizing the bike battery’s charge first so you’ll never be caught short when heading out to ride. The charge time is fast too, with the main battery capable of reaching 80% in two hours of charging.
Control is Power
You can connect your TQ system to the TQ smartphone app giving you the power to further tune the feel of the motor to your preferences. Want to maximize power output? Easy. Out for an extra-long day and need to prioritize efficiency? No problem.
An ergonomic, minimalistic handlebar remote gives you complete control over the motor’s assistance level, while all important metrics such as battery life, mode, speed, range and watts are easily visible on the top tube integrated display.
Linkage Design
The linkage is comprised of a stiff and lightweight one-piece inner piece that is driven by the externally visible, straight-splined outer linkage pieces.
A shock extender piece connects the inner linkage to the shock’s trunnion mount, therefore ideally positioning the shock to allow room for the motor while achieving 155mm of dreamy support.
Bearings have been used for all pivot points that rotate more than 4.5 degrees, contributing to excellent small bump sensitivity.
Voltage eRIDE – For the Trail Monster
The entire Voltage lineup, with the exception of the Tuned model, feature the patented FOX NUDE 6T shock and a FOX FIT4 fork. More sensitive and supportive than ever before, the TwinLoc controlled platform gives you full control over the performance of your suspension to match the trail ahead.

TwinLoc x NUDE 6T
Activated via the handlebar-mounted TwinLoc remote, compression dampening of the NUDE 6T rear shock and fork can be altered at the flick of a switch via the handlebar-mounted TwinLoc remote, giving you full control over the performance of your suspension to match the trail ahead.
Voltage eRIDE Tuned – For the Shred Head
The Voltage Tuned has been developed for the zero-chill riders among us. We’re talking big hits, high speeds and steep terrain. The patented FOX Float X NUDE, paired with a FOX Factory 36 Grip 2 is ready to turn things up to 11, featuring our TracLoc handlebar remote to make your suspension more progressive in the face of particularly rowdy trail features. A burly set of Maxxis Dissector tyres come standard on the Voltage Tuned, helping you to remain rubber-side down when things get loose.
TracLoc x FOX Float X NUDE
While The Float-X NUDE also features 3 modes that can be actuated with a remote, we decided to do things a bit differently compared to the NUDE 6T. In descend mode, both air chambers are open, giving you access to 155mm of specifically tuned suspension travel. Flick the switch into the Ramp Control mode, and one chamber in the shock is closed off, increasing progression. Out for a rip on technical singletrack and maybe a section or two of fast bike park? With this system, it’s as if you can add a volume spacer in your shock mid-ride. Then, we have a climb mode that closes off compression damping and also alters the bike’s dynamic geometry for those long climbs, saving you energy for the rip back down.
