Design & Innovation Awards 2018: 2 winners for SCOTT!
Once a year, the Design & Innovation Award team meets for 2 weeks of testing and assessing, to eventually define the bike industry’s highest-performing products. In 2018, SCOTT has been honoured with 2 winning bikes: the Foil Premium Disc and the Genius 900 Tuned.
Foil Premium Disc
"The SCOTT FOIL Premium Disc pushes the boundaries of aero bikes. With a mind-boggling weight of 7.3 kg for the disc version, not only does the FOIL break weight records, but it also accelerates incredibly well thanks to its stiff frame. The standard 28 mm-wide Continental Grand Prix 4000 S II tires provide confidence to steam through gravel and cobblestone and open up entirely new riding possibilities. It’s not surprising that the FOIL has already claimed stage victories in Grand Tours and podium places in classic races such as the Milano-San Remo and Paris-Roubaix. Technical integration is of the highest order and is cleverly implemented without being too complex. This means emergency repairs can be carried out quickly on long tours and in the middle of a race. Genius 900 Tuned
