Visibility
La Mokka Plus Sensor helmet is equipped with an integrated, wide-angle rear light and sensor, which ensures maximum visibility from behind and from side angles.
Light modes
The wide-angle rear light features 3 modes:
- Mode 1 - Continuous light
- Mode 2 - Flashing mode
- Mode 3 - Intermittent flashing mode
Sensor
In addition to the 3 basic light modes, this helmet also features an integrated motion sensor - meaning that when you brake, those behind you are alerted by a brake light on the back of the helmet. When you take the helmet off, the light goes into sleep mode.
Brake Light
The motion sensor detects when you are braking suddenly and changes the signal of the light to make it more visible, alerting riders and drivers behind. It acts similarly to the brake lights you see on cars.
- Mode 1 - Continuous light (brake light flashes quickly)
- Mode 2 - Flashing mode (brake light in continuous mode)
- Mode 3 - Intermittent flashing mode (brake light flashes quickly)
Sleep mode
When you're not riding or using the helmet, the light automatically goes into sleep mode, thereby conserving the battery. Sleep mode is activated after two minutes without moving the helmet. When you pick up the helmet again, the sensor will detect the movement and switch on the light in the previously selected light mode. With this functionality, you won't ever need to think about switching the light on and off again. In addition, the sensor recognizes micro movements to ensure that the sleep mode cannot be activated while riding.
Safety
La Mokka Plus Sensor is equipped with MIPS Brain Protection System, which helps reduce rotational force to the head in the event of an impact.
For increased protection, La Mokka Plus Sensor comes with extended coverage at the back and on the sides of the helmet. With a greater surface of the rider’s head covered, the helmet therefore offers improved safety in the event of a crash.
