Safa's Addict RC Pro Build
Safa Brian, Los Angeles-based filmmaker, cyclist, adventurer, and master of the descent, was riding the Addict RC well before his official partnership with SCOTT. In fact, it was a secondhand 2014 Addict RC Team Issue that first lured this dedicated bike messenger away from his fixed gear and into the mountains. A lot has changed for Safa and the Addict RC since he first strapped on a camera and started filming. The speeds are faster, the camera gear is better, the team behind the scenes has grown, and the adventures have become bigger! Like Safa, the 2025 Addict RC has continually raised its game. Since its debut in 2008, when it first set the set the lightweight benchmark, the Addict RC is once again reclaiming its position as the ultimate climbing bike.

Not only is Safa’s Addict RC Pro one of the lightest bikes on the mountains, but it’s also built to handle high-speed corners, out of the saddle sprints, and straight-line super tucks.
Full Shimano Di2 build keeps Safa going and is also stock on the production Addict RC Pro build.
The Syncros Capital SL 40mm Wheels on this bike keep the build feather light and Safa is connected to the road via 700x29c tires, however if you want to bigger this frame can accomidat up to 700x34 tires.
The new Syncros IC-R100-SL integrated cockpit is 50 grams lighter than the previous version, and its aero-shaping gives Safa a little more speed in the super tuck.
