Alex Nichols on the podium at USATF 100 Mile Road Championships

SCOTT’s running athlete Alex Nichols managed to run 100 Miles in 13 hours 44 minutes and came up 2nd in the 100 Mile Road Championship by USATF (USA Track & Field).
Nichols, an avid trail runner by definition and Cross-Country coach at Colorado College, tied up his Speed Carbon RC shoes to dive into one of the most demanding road running competitions.
Prior to the race, he confessed on his social media that “this race will be way out of my comfort zone but I'm looking forward to a new challenge”. Something similar happened when he won the Western States 100 in 2017.
Seems like Alex Nichols loves to embrace new challenges… and tends to crush them with outstanding results.
