What does skiing mean to you personally?

Skiing is one of the few things I grew up passionately thinking about day in and day out. I love the creativity and freewill that come along with freeride skiing. The fact that I get to call this a job is truly beyond me.

When did you start skiing and how have you evolved as a skier?

I first strapped on the sticks at two years old and never looked back. I grew up charging the local hill and at a young age started to follow my pops around in the backcountry. As I’ve grown as a skier I continue to try to look at the mountains differently than I did the year before. Always wanting to find a new side hit or transfer in the backcountry.

Who were/are your idols on and off the hill?

Always have to bring this one back to my dad. He’s been a great role model on and off the hill and has passionately pursued all of the same action sports I idolized as a kid. He’s 58 and still goes bigger than most of my friends on MTB.

What do you get up to when you’re not skiing?

Throughout the winter anytime I have off you’ll find me either riding my snowmobile or fixing my snowmobile. Throughout the summers I love tinkering on car projects and helping out at my family's passion project LEGACY Bike Park.

Outside of skiing, where do you draw inspiration from?

MTB’s, Rally Cars and the occasional cinematic edit. Growing up riding bikes has definitely impacted the way that I interpret terrain in the winter and vice versa. Rally Cars and a good edit just get me stoked!
