Program
This mountain bike trip is available for a minimum of 5 participants from May to November.
We’ll meet you at the Briançon SNCF station at 9 a.m. or Oulx-Cesana (TGV) at 8:15 a.m., before departing in our minibus. Come dressed in your mountain biking gear, ready to hit the trails!
Today we start off gently, with the first ascent on road then track, until we reach the occasionally technical, but highly playful "Mélézin" singletrack, zigzagging through the undergrowth – a pure delight! After a snack break, we switch to the opposite side, to go up to the top of a perfect path and get a taste of the local gems: the Sachas torrent and its magnificent switchbacks. Then we’ll head to our little nest for a thirst-quenching debrief.
A fun first day on the locals’ favorite trails, to whet your appetite for the rest of the trip!

Today will satisfy your desire for freedom, beautiful landscapes, and of course, riding... We start with a gentle ascent along the bucolic Guisane valley, perfect for digesting the scenery and the hearty breakfast! We’ll ride 20km along the torrent to reach the famous Lautaret pass, at 2042m. A progressive ascent of 800m elevation gain, complemented by superb landscapes. After a quick break to take in views of La Meije, a short ascent follows before you’re off on the famous Balcony trail, with its superb views of the Ecrins glaciers. The perfect mountains & riding combo! To finish the day, an easygoing return rounded off with a stop at Briançon’s Italian ice cream parlor.

We start out on rolling terrain, which progresses to slightly more technical trails with countless switchbacks streaking through a lunar landscape and extraordinary volcanic terrain. You’ll be hugging the border, casually hopping between Italy and France!
From Collet Vert to Lac Gignoux to Chenaillet (2650m), we will reach Col de la Cochette before descending below Fort de l'Infernet towards Briançon. A monumental descent of more than 1300m vertical, guaranteed to get your brake pads screaming and your adrenaline pumping.

Descents through pine forests, single trails on the ridges – what’s not to love?
Nota bene: a local beer with the end-of-day debrief is also a must to aid the recovery!

A coffee break at the Rifugio Mautino on the Italian side will give you the caffeine hit you need to sharpen your skills – é delizioso!
