Pfeiffer Georgi started riding when she was only 4 years old at her local loop – the mythic Herne Hill Velodrome in London. From those roots, she’s set out to prove herself winning multiple junior National Titles and now sporting the British National Champs jersey while riding for the WorldTour team, Team DSM.
Setting off for a loop with SCOTT ambassador and ex-pro cyclicst, Francis Cade, the pair are going to do Pfeiffer’s classic home roads. Pfeiffer chose a hilly loop that incorporates just enough climbing alongside picturesque Cotswolds villages.
The duo started in Breadstone and managed to find all the best climbs in the area. In just under 60km, the pair managed to pack in over 900m of elevation. Hardly a flat bit in the whole route.
Coombe Hill, Crawl Hill and Horsley Hill all make this a ride that will ensure youre legs are burning and that youre ready for the stop at Wild Carrot café. When Francis and Pfeiffer stopped in, they were able to catch up on the historic day in Lincoln when Pfeiffer escaped away from the pack on the final climb to clinch the National Title.
