What does skiing mean to you personally?
To me skiing means freedom and being with the mountains.
When did you start skiing and how have you evolved as a skier?
I started skiing in a small resort called Dodge Ridge. I started out racing and then took a few years off during university. From there I discovered freeriding and I came back to skiing in a whole different way.
Who were/are your idols on and off the hill?
On the hill - Josh Daiek! He’s my favorite skier and I aspire to ski like him one day! Off the hill, Jane Goodhall - she embodies kindness to all walks of life and I really try to embrace that.
What do you get up to when you’re not skiing?
I love rock climbing and try and do that as much as I can. I also work as an environmental advocate here in South Lake Tahoe, Ca.
Outside of skiing, where do you draw inspiration from?
I draw inspiration from my community in South Lake Tahoe. We are a small community but we are passionate people who care about many things in this world. I’m proud and inspired to call South Lake Tahoe my home.
What do you like most about SCOTT?
SCOTT is one of my proudest sponsors. They took a chance on me when I got a wildcard for the Tour in 2023 and have stood by me ever since! I feel very grateful to have SCOTT as a partner.
What are your favorite SCOTT products?
I love the SCOTT React goggles and the SCOTT ultra light patrol avalanche backpack. Both are high quality and reliable and pivotal to my backcountry kit!
